# Startup discounts for sales tools: who gets what

The biggest public startup discounts on sales tools are on CRMs. HubSpot
gives up to 90% off the first year, and Attio 80%. Prospecting tools give
less: Apollo takes 50% off the first year. Bank, card and founder programs
mostly repeat these offers inside their own dashboards.

We checked every row below on the tool's own public page, on the date in
its source. Offers change, so open the link before you plan a budget on
one.

## The sales tools, one row each

| Tool | Who qualifies | What you get | When it ends | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| [HubSpot (CRM)](https://www.hubspot.com/startups) | Raised pre-seed, seed or Series A, not Series B. A HubSpot partner, or funding HubSpot can verify | 90% off year one, 50% off year two, 25% off year three. New Professional or Enterprise products only | After year three | 2026-10-30 |
| [Attio (CRM)](https://attio.com/startups) | Venture-backed, or with an Attio startup partner. Incorporated under 10 years ago. Apply within 90 days of creating the workspace | 80% off the annual Pro plan and credits in year one, 30% off in year two. Up to 10 seats | After year two | 2026-10-30 |
| [Apollo (prospecting)](https://www.apollo.io/partners/partnership-startup-promo) | A new user who belongs to one of Apollo's startup partners. Fewer than 20 employees, a company email domain | 50% off the Basic or Professional plan, up to 5 seats. You then have 30 days to buy an annual plan | One year after your first paid date | 2026-10-30 |
| [Clay (data and outreach workflows)](https://www.clay.com/partners/startup-partner-program) | Startups that come through a partner: a fund, an accelerator or a community | A place in Clay's startup go-to-market program, workshops and "thousands of Clay credits". No percent or dollar discount on the page | Not stated | 2026-10-30 |

Two limits sit in the fine print. HubSpot and Apollo count only new
customers or new products. Attio closes the door 90 days after you open a
workspace. So apply before your first paid month, not after it.

## Where else these discounts show up

Banks, card companies and founder programs collect perks for their
customers. The sales perks in them are mostly the same CRM discounts as
above.

| Program | Who gets the perks | Sales and marketing perks we saw | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| [Stripe Atlas](https://support.stripe.com/questions/stripe-atlas-perks-partners) | Founders who formed their company with Atlas, after approval. Perks sit in the Perks tab | HubSpot 30% off the first year, and ad credits | 2026-10-30 |
| [Ramp](https://ramp.com/rewards) | Ramp customers, in the Ramp dashboard. Ramp says "over $350,000 in partner rewards" | HubSpot 30% off the first year. Zendesk Suite and Sales CRM free for 6 months | 2026-10-30 |
| [Brex](https://www.brex.com/support/brex-partner-perks) | Brex cardholders, under Rewards in the dashboard | A starter stack of 19 tools for new founders. No lead or data vendor in it | 2026-10-29 |
| [YC Deals](https://deals.ycombinator.com/external-partners) | YC companies and their staff, behind the founder login. YC says "over 1000 deals" | The list is not public. YC sets a floor for vendors, such as 50% off for 2 years or one year free | 2026-10-29 |

The program discount on HubSpot is 30%. HubSpot's own startup program
gives 90% to a funded startup. Check both before you take the smaller one.

## What to have ready before you apply

The programs above ask for some of these three things. Collect them once.

1. **A link that shows your round.** HubSpot and Attio ask for venture
funding they can check. A public announcement with a date is
   the simplest proof
2. **An email at your company's domain.** Apollo asks for one. Use
the same address for every application
3. **Your seat count.** Attio's discount covers up to 10 seats and
Apollo's up to 5. Seats above that are paid at the full price

Apply for the CRM first. HubSpot's discount runs three years, and Attio's
window closes 90 days after you start. Prospecting tools come second.

## What none of these discounts gives you

Every offer above cuts the price of software. None of them gives you a
person to write to. A CRM at 90% off is still empty on day one. A
prospecting tool at 50% off still leaves you to choose who to contact.

Ramp's and Atlas's sales perks list CRMs and ad credits. Brex's starter
stack has no lead or data vendor. YC's list is not public, so we cannot
say what it holds.

## What we sell, and what we are not part of

We are not part of YC Deals, Stripe Atlas, Brex, Ramp or any other program
on this page. We sell leads. A lead is a person who fits your buyers and
engaged with content on your topic. A person checked each one online.
Then a phone call confirmed their company.

We have [special offers for startups](https://intentchart.com/startups) with a fresh funding round and for
accelerator founders.

To check a price per lead against your own deal size, use the
[CPL calculator](https://intentchart.com/tools/cpl-calculator). CPL means cost per lead. To see

## Questions

### Which sales tools give the biggest startup discount?

On 2026-10-30, HubSpot gave the most: 90% off year one for startups up to
Series A. Attio gave 80% off year one. Apollo gave 50% off the first year.
Check each page before you buy, because the terms change.

### Do I need to be in an accelerator to get these discounts?

Not for most. HubSpot accepts funding it can verify. Attio accepts
venture-backed startups. Apollo and Clay go through their startup
partners.

### Are bank and card perks better than applying to the tool directly?

Not always. Ramp and Atlas list HubSpot at 30% off the first year.
HubSpot's own program gives 90% to a startup with a seed or Series A
round.

### Do these discounts include leads or contacts?

No. These programs discount software: CRMs, prospecting tools
and ad credits. You still decide who to contact, and you find those people
yourself.

### Are you part of these programs?

No. We are not listed in YC Deals, Stripe Atlas, Brex or Ramp. Our
special offers for startups are our own, and you need no program to ask.
